Student discount not applied on billing


Hello. I applied for a plan using a student code for a discount. My application for the plan was processed in a store. I was told by the person who processed my application that the discount would take effect on my 2nd bill. I have already received the second bill, but turns out the amount was even higher than my previous one. I was wondering how is that? Thank you very much in advance for answers.
