Hi,

Can I add my partner to my Optus account? If so how?

Are you looking to take advantage of Family Data sharing (all phone on the same account share the total data) or just wanting your partner to be able to phone Optus and do admin stuff? Short Answer though is : Yes

I just need to have my partner be associated (and in effect responsible by default) with my account. He won't be using any of the data per see.

Ok. Just contact Optus and add him to your account as an authorised person. He can then handle most admin stuff. However only one person can be 'responsible' for your account (i.e. paying the bill). You can transfer that to your partner or keep it yourself.
