Re: Is this a scam?

Yes it' a scam and not a bad attempt given they have finally got around to using Optus in the url. One day these not so smart scammers might discover what sub domains are all about.

Re: Is this a scam?

Looks like it to me. Been reports in the Yes Crowd of a few recently.

BTW as this is a public forum I am assuming that is your phone number, please edit your message to remove the phone number.

I am an Optus user.

The URL actually has your phone number encoded in the MDQ... part.

If you want you can replace it with MDQwMDAwMDAwMA== which is 0400000000.

Re: Is this a scam?

I just thought that after reading the Optus scam advice that you need to forward the above of the message as it helps them back track stuff, that the senders phone number could be important but after realising that the scamers might have a random phone number just like the nasty sales agents use to by pass your blocked contact list and it always dials with a random number, but I didn’t fully get what Optus were on about for what they request about scam...

Re: Is this a scam?

I don’t understand what u mean, it has my phone number encoded, I don’t physically see any phone numbers on my end and now realising this the scam message somehow got the URL changed around to random letters and numbers but now it again shows the URL
