My bank has changed my credit card type (so, a complete change) and I cannot update the direct debit details on my Optus business account. The account won't allow me to remove the card because it's "linked via direct debit". I can add my new card details but still can't remove the old one or select the new card as the primary for payment. I have followed all web directions and checked forums but cannot find a solution. I read in another forum Optus don't do this by phone anymore, so how can I fix this?
They recently cannot update Direct debit for Credit card details only but are able to update Direct Debit for bank accounts to be taken directly from bank. You can update your direct debit for Credit card on 1300157714 but you need to have you account number handy before calling this number. Its as easy as 123
