Hi all,
I have been unable to activate my apple watch eSim since purchasing the watch nearly two months ago. Both the phone and watch were purchased from Optus, and there is another watch/phone paired on the same account successfully.
I keep having my username/password rejected in the Watch App / Mobile activation screen, even though the same username/password combo works just fine to log into My Account in a browser. I've tried manually entering the credentials, and also using LastPass.
I've logged calls with Optus "support", including an IT ticket, and most recently spent a little over an hour in store trying to have the issues resolved. I keep being told that I'm typing my username and password incorrectly, but I'm not! Also the Assistant Manager in the Optus store tried and was unsuccessful.
I see that a few people have had this issue and had it resolved on this forum, and I'm hoping for the same.
Thanks in advance,
Tony
Hey there Tony,
That does sound like a frustrating experience.
From what I'm aware, referring customers with Number Share issues to our Social Media team have helped get them resolved.
If you have a social media account, please send a PM to Optus on Facebook or a DM on Twitter with the details.
Let us know how you go.
