Hey @Ratpicks - were you referring to an Optusnet email address? If this is the case, generally speaking prepaid services are not provisioned with email logins.
In the instance that your concern was just isolated to email use, it may suggest that your device may require some updating. Just in case you have not already done so, there was an update introduced a couple months back. If you could please make sure that your handset's software is up to date, that would be much appreciated.
Generally speaking, the newer version of the Optusnet is more compatible with the latest i0s/ android system
