Mobile Broadband

I have had to isolate due to COVID19 and need internet access.

I bought an Optus Mobile Broadband USB stick.

When I plug it into my MacBook it tells me that it cannot run as it is only 32 bit and needs to be 64 bit.

I really need internet access and consider this a critical enquiry due to my isolation.

The website says tech support is available 24/7. The phone line says they can only deal with cases where someone's internet isn't working. But when I call it says it is closed and to use messenger. When I go onto messenger it says it is not available.

Could someone please help me???

Re: Mobile Broadband

@markkayne77

Try this https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/search/ and assuming your model is the

huawei e3372 search for that.

I came up with 25 results and assuming you are using Catalina and towards the bottom of the file listing on page 1 is a file  Stick version to support MAC 10.15

https://consumer-tkb.huawei.com/tkbapp/downloadWebsiteService?websiteId=1697023

On the second Page is a PDF installation guide

Driver Installation Guide for MAC10.15 OS(Stick)_2.0

https://consumer-tkb.huawei.com/weknow/servlet/show/knowAttachmentServlet?knowId=en-us00763188

If this is your model download the guide first have a read before attempting the driver install.

If unsure maybe try Whirlpool or a Mac forum.

I am not an Optus employee. If a reply helps please give a Kudos and when an issue is solved please mark as solved.
