IPhone XS e-Sim

Hi,

I recently upgraded to an Iphone XS purely for the e-Sim functionality. 

 

After experiencing issues setting up, I returned to the store to see if they could assist in installing it. They also encountered issues, continually receiving the 'unable to install' message. In-store dialled tech support who informed there was a current issues preventing users from installing a new e-Sim and to try again in 3-5 business days. 

 

The in-store assistant found this hard to believe as they had successfully set up e-Sims for other users throughout the day. Can someone please advise in there is an issue and if it has been resolved? and if not, what steps can be taken to resolve this?

 

I have attempted whilst connected to wifi and with no physical sim in the device.

There is no step that the Yes Crowd Social Media team can take which will automagically fix the problem.

 

Sadly, if they've spoken to Technical Support and they can't fix the problem, there is nothing more anyone can do until the Network Operations Centre resolve the fault with eSIM activation process.

I haven't heard of that issue but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

As JP has suggested, you would be better off asking a customer facing team.
