Can I upgrade to a new phone and keep my same Optus plan?

I have two iphones on my account and want to upgrade one and keep same plan, is this possible.

Yes. Each phone is connected to a different "plan" (even if they are both the same details). You just need to see if any contract still exists and if there is any payout figure. you can also probably see details of your current plan here on MYACCOUNT
Contact Optus directly to find this out your status otherwise (this is a public forum)

Hi there chelzea,


If you've had one of those iPhones on a plan for the last 24 months or so, it's highly likely that plan is no longer available for new customers/recontracts.


If you know what phone you want you can see what the available plans are on the Optus online shop.
