I have just had a Samsung Galaxy S8. I have set up the Voicemail and I recevie an SMS notification when someone leaves a message. It seems to be set up as an audio message, and when I call it, instead of me hearing the callers message, it calls their number back. When I try and retrieve messages by dialling 321, it says I have no messages. Is there a way to remove the audio message option?
Hmm, I wonder if we've set up a missed call service rather than your traditional voicemail service.
Missed call service
Is a free substitute for Voicemail It allows for 1-minute messages (maximum) to be converted and sent as an MMS, but does not record or store the message like Voicemail. Further info on Missed Call Service is available here.
I'd suggest jumping onto Live Chat
Ask them which type of voice mail service we'd set up for you. They'll then be able to add our regular voicemail feature to your service.
