Using Galaxy smartwatch phone- does it cost extra to make/receive a call
I bought my wife a Galaxy Smartwatch, and I have paired it. Whilst she doesn't want it for the phone function, I presumed that for it to work I'd need to get an esim. However I called my wife's phone number and the watch responded to the incoming call giving the option to answer or end.
My question is, how did it do it without a sim? And second question will it cost extra to answer or make calls on that device?
Re: Using Galaxy smartwatch phone- does it cost extra to make/receive a call
It would treat the watch just the like Bluetooth only model watch. Turns into a very expensive Bluetooth speaker. It still uses the paired phone to do the call part but the phone just sends the voice to the watch instead. So what ever plan the paired phone has is what it uses.
