What happens when mobile phone contract expires? We are on My Basics plan with home phone/broadband (suppposed to be $60 per month but fluctuates) plus two mobiles on $40 My Plan Plus. One mobile contract expired in November 2017 and the other just expired March 2019. I didn't get notification that either plan expired. So I have been paying $40 per month since Nov 2017 after contract expired on one mobile. Should I still be paying $40 per month for each mobile, as phones are paid off now? What am I paying for? Don't want to get stuck on phone for hours trying to get an answer.

Many plans have no handset fees and subsequently continue at the same rate until you change them. If you change those phones to a sim only plan you will most likely gain much more data for your $40.
