Sim activated but isnt working

I bought a new sim 5 days ago...I activated it online...I also got a message regarding the activation on my number but when I tried to check balance it said that calls from the number isnt currently available..and not any other incoming and outgoing are allowed..please help

Hey,

You may have accidentally activated a broadband service there. It would be best to contact Optus for assistance. They should be able to confirm that for you. Their direct number is 133937. Or you can also contact them via chat, please go to: http://www.optus.com.au/shop/notices/service-chat
