Optus number share how does it work

I intend to buy a Galaxy watch and pair it with my Samsung phone.

So normally the watch and phone will be within bluetooth range.

What happens when the watch is out of bluetooth range and there's a incoming call ? Does both the phone and the watch rings at the same time and the call can be answered on either phone or watch ?

Regards.

Re: Optus number share how does it work

Hi adventurer8,

I just wear a fitbit so I'm not sure, haha. Doesn't seem to be covered here either: Number Share - What You Need to Know

Perhaps have a go at chatting with Samsung (bottom right hand corner of page)

Re: Optus number share how does it work

I don't expect Samsung to know about this.

Number sharing is a service provided by Optus.

Seems like this is a lost cause, too uncommon until no one knows. I better don't touch this service.

Actually considering the function is a hardware feature Samsung would have answers
