Currently in Marion Bay, SA and although I have full signal strength for my Optus android I can't send or receive sms, nor get mobile data. A local said that the tower was hit by lightning last week and no Optus facilities since. Has this been reported to Optus? All the businesses here rely on Optus for ATM, EFTPOS and other business data.

The techs are aware of the issue and are doing their best to restore service there as soon as possible. Fingers crossed it's not too much longer.
