Hey @DangitDan75, thanks for reaching out. When you purchased your new handset, did you also get a new handset? Sometimes older sim cards can take some time adjusting to the new device. Generally speaking, after long periods of usage- sims can incur standard wear and tear that can have an impact on connectivity and mobile function.
If you head into one of our Optus Stores, the teams on site will be able to provide a replacement free of charge
