I just switched over to FirstNet from Verizon about a month ago. I initially had an ATT sim, then found out none of the firstnet features (priority, preemption, etc) would work, so they sent me a firstnet sim. Since switching, my texts take forever to send and about 25% fail to send. I use Android Messages (google) on my s8+ that I brought over from Verizon (unlocked). Everything worked fine with the ATT sim. I know many of the FirstNet features are not fully operational yet like Wifi calling. In a quick google search I found that texting issues could be related to wifi calling.
Should I switch back to the ATT sim card until everything gets hashed out? I am in the NYC metro area and work for a department that is big on tech and has switched all of their stuff over.
