Email overseas

I am in new Zealand and cannot send any emails. I have googled this and tried everything. The only solution I haven't tried is the local wifi settings  However as I am travelling around this is a rediculous solution

Re: Email overseas

You mean you can't send emails of your optusnet email, because you can't find the outgoing password box to tick?

Try not using optusnet email addresses. I'm sure hotmail and gmail work fine.

Re: Email overseas

The outbound mail server of whowver you are connected to at the time should work however as you pointed out this is a pain if you are travelling using many different connection.

I guess it's either that or webmail. There would be a few regulars on here that would suggest ditching Optus mail all together and going for one of those free mail accounts however they also have their issues.

Re: Email overseas

Most likely port 25 is blocked if you are using your own domain outgoing mail server settings. Webmail is probably your only option.
