Re: Android Software Updates

Hi there,

So no update on a firmware update for the mate 10 pro? I think when my phone is up for contract renewal next February I'm going back to Samsung as lack of updates is the issue that drove me to Huawei in the first place

Re: Android Software Updates

Is there a new update post today? I thought it was a weekly update now?

I'm looking for status update on the P30 pro.

Thanks

Re: Android Software Updates

This is why updates are so important,  yet it takes Optus so long to release updates, still on June security patch and it's August.

Re: Android Software Updates

If you have a snapdragon based device, Samsung doesnt normally use snapdragon for asia/pacific - uses Exynos.

Huawei range use their own Kirin, Nokias are a mixed lot with Mediatek and snapdragon, oppo use a heap of snapdragon though.

Re: Android Software Updates

Still regardless of this particular glitch being for snapdragon, these patches fix many other critical glitches and the fact that security updates via Optus are slow, putting devices at risk. They need to be released immediately,  when received from the manufacturer.

And I'm referring to security patches, not system feature updates.
