My current sim only plan is around 2 years old. I've just got a 5G phone - once I get into a 5G coverage area do will it automatically connect or do I need a different plan?

@Rippsa My understanding is Optus 5G is only for Post Paid plans.
It may have changes since the article above was written.
Please message Optus Support 24/7 from the My Optus app. If you do not have access to the My Optus app you can use social media to contact Optus Support, please send a PM to Optus on Facebook or a DM on Twitter and include in the message you do not have access to the My Optus app.
Hi Tigers1719 - yes the Optus app - going into settings and then 5G and changing the toggle - that did the trick and 5G is now provisioned. Simple as - pity this isn't on the website.
