Minecraft server on 4G broadband huawei

Why is this so difficult? I've forwarded all my ports correctly and no one can connect to my server.

I'm hooked in to the 4G Broadband network on a Huawei 818 router.

Because you dont get your own public IP address on that service and one is not available (200/500Gb Home 4g plans).

No public IP = no port forwarding.

You host it on a different connection that has its own public IP address.

Hey @tikajr, were you only having issues with Minecraft Gaming? If so, the issue is seemingly isolated to the website/ server you are trying to connect too.

I would recommend removing any unwanted cookies and caches from your history. Doing so, will clear any interruptions to site access. Sometimes trying a new browser after a quick reset will also do the trick. Give those a shot and see how you go -Quade

@tikajrI have used ngrok to setup a FTP server on my 4G connection. I have no idea if this can be used for Minecraft, but it's worth looking at if you do not want to get a business account.

I can confirm that ngrok works. Even on their free plan
