I have recently purchased x2 Wireless Broadband 500GB, one for my household and one for my mother in laws house.

We only plugged in my mother in laws 13 days ago and it has just tipped over 250Gb. I know that there is a fair amount of use however I am certain that the amount of bandwidth being used is high given the actual usage (which is Nexflix /Stan/Disney/You tube - 2 TVs)

25 Dec 2019 -8.5 GB; 24 Dec 2019 - 26.3 GB, 23 Dec 2019 - 23 GB, 22 Dec 2019 - 27.1 GB, 21 Dec 2019 - 34.1 GB, 20 Dec 2019 - 40.2 GB, 19 Dec 2019 - 13 GB, 18 Dec 2019 - 19.3 GB, 17 Dec 2019 - 19.1 GB, 16 Dec 2019 - 3.6 GB, 15 Dec 2019 - 20.5 GB, 14 Dec 2019 - 14.3 GB

I am not always able to manage all the viewing and therefore I want to go into the settings I can control and stop the different APPS dragging the highest video quality from the data unnecessarily.

How do I do that via the HUAWEI B525 MBB settings?

Example - on 24/12 I downloaded Disney + at my home and watched 1 movie.  That was all the activity on that day in my household and it used 18Gb.  I'm in the process of trying to reduce the video quality on my account however I need a solution that will apply across all usage on these plans

Their is no such functionality built into the router itself.

You need to do this in the apps themselves, e.g. turn down streaming quality.
All streaming services listed can stream in 4k (some depend on plan and device thats using it).
4k streaming will consume vast amounts of data, so by lowering that down to the standard 1080p aka full HD you will greatly reduce your usage.
