We have been using 5g home internet connection since last few month. Pretty disappointed to say service has been very very bad. Connection drop frequently which causes lot of issues as we work from home. It takes sometimes 10 minutes for connection to come back. On certain days, connection drops every 10 minutes, means we can't use 5g internet at all.
Been calling 5g support, but they have no clue. All they say, restart the modem, take sim out and put it back and then they say we are escalating the issue but nothing happens!
I am thinking to break the contract and go back to NBN.
Any other users suffering like this? Can't take it anymore. Please guide.

Your responses from Optus as the standard QOS via the script moneys.
The upshot is that the 5G Home Internet service is not ready for prime time and Optus should suspend the service and give refunds to its customers.
I am literally 200 metres from the 5G tower and cannot get 5G reception on the Nokia antenna. The 4G is slower and the ping is even worse than my mobile phone, which is with another provider.
